Macadamia Nut Farm!

we finally made it to the nut farm and oh what fun we had!!!!
megan and emma on the tour bus during the hilarious tour! our guide was an absolute hoot!!! this place is truly a MUST SEE!!!!mid tour you stop and watch the "fire dance"( as megan and emma call it). learn how to break coconut along with a taste. view many movie sets... 50 first dates, Lost, Jurassic Park, and many more.
megan on the boat, just another part of the tour. we had a blast and learned alot! we also got these neat headbands made and given to us during the tour.

Turtle Bay

another stop on "sonja's visit" was to turtle bay. we all had a ball checking out the turtles. there was 9 turtles on the beach while we were there and numerous ones in the water. we all did a little snorkeling and everyone swan with turtles! emma checking this guy out!
this old girl came ashore right in front of us. it was so neat watching them move in and out of the water.

megan and bailey playing in the sand. megan swam with turtles for the first time!! we've seen them in the ocean many time but she'd never snorkeled with one till now! it about came and gave her a kiss, and kept nudging her with it's fin. she was kind of scared but didn't freak out till we hit shore, lol! but she thinks it was pretty cool now!!
it's so awesome here!!!!!

Our Hike of Diamond Head

the O'Grady's stop and pose after the 1.6 mile, and 560ft climb from the crater floor. what a great morning to hike up diamond head!
it was an awesome hike.... way different than any of us expected. it has over 200 stairs, dirt trails, a 225ft tunnel, and a spiral stair case to make it all the way to the top!

As a special tribute to the ship and it's lost crew, the United States flag flies from the flagpole, which is attached to the severed mainmast of the sunken battleship. The USS Arizona Memorial commemorates all of those whose lives were lost on O'ahu, Dec 7,1941.

Chucky Cheese Birthday!

Oh my is my baby really 4?!?!
so the party was at chucky cheese and everyone (or the kids anyway) had a great time. they learned the chucky birthday dance...pretty cute!

emma had a great time once she warmed up a little. she was a little unsure of chucky and friends, LOL.
my "BIRTHDAY GIRL"!!!! (can she really be 4 already......time flies when you're havin' fun!!)

ok so here's my "practice cake" for megans birthday. yes i know about time i'm only a little over a month behind. it's hard to find time when there's soooooo much playing and running around to do, LOL!!! i did learn somethings from practicing (beings i've never really done a cake like this before) i for sure need to make my frosting a little less runny!!!! and i'll clean up the real one's better but we dove right into this thing so what was the point, hee hee heeeee!!!!!!!!!
i'm so proud of my bows..... i did them all by myself!!!! ( and i'm a terrible bow maker!)

the party's on sunday, but here's the general idea. a double layer 9x10, a double layer loaf pan and a single square dish all made into gifts with bows and hand stamped tags!!! so on sat. i'll be busy baking and decorating on sun.........but i'm as ready as i can be for now. then we're off to chucky cheese at 4:00 yeah!!!!!

so i know it's been along time... once i get tommy to put the picts off his camera on to a disc for me i'm gonna hit ya hard!!! lots of pics on there and we've been playing hard!!!!!!!!!
