we made it! Waihi, known as Waimea Falls
the girls got to swim in the "pool".

we stopped half way back to have a little picnic, the girls thought it was so much fun!
one of the many peacocks, they were all so pretty....the whole thing was just beautiful!
Hale O Lono Heiau, Hawaiian Temple dedicated to Lono, the deity of agriculture, fertility, peace and music. Constructed between 1470 ad & 1700 ad and is still very sacred and a place of worship to this day.
