we love the west side, isn't it beautiful!

this captain always seems to have a first mate!

there they are, we FINALLY found the WHALES!

we found this mama and her calf out playing. we got to sit and watch for about 30 minutes before the went back down. i think this was one of the most amazing things i've ever seen! the girls loved it, as did tommy and i!

they would jump out but we always missed it, lol. then they'd slap the water back and forth at each other, so funny to see. we enjoyed the show...LOVED IT in fact!

and the baby waves one last time before they disappear! what a great experience, can't wait to do it again!!!

Megan earns her "First Strip"!

Megan tested today for her first strip, she's turning into quite the taekwondo master, lol!just waiting for her turn to test

oh how she's turning into a big girl! emma desided today to give tubin' a try...kind of scary on that big ol' ocean! she's never wanted to so we'll see how it goes?!?! well she's on the tube...will she like it?

she kept telling daddy FASTER! oh no... she's gonna have his need for speed! with in minutes she was going as fast as megan does, and megan doesn't go very slow!

megan takes her turn and emma WILL NOT get out, so here we all GO!

just out of the harbor we got to see one of the Navy's HUGE subs, pretty neat!

it's not all play afterwards everyone pitches in to clean up. what another great day!!!

what a beautiful view heading back! we did get a glimpse of a whale, well a tail any way. it was to quick and no pics, but we had a great time out on the water with some GREAT friends!

Daddy's the BIG 30!

Happy, Happy BIRTHDAY! so the girls and i surprised ( and i do mean surprised!) tommy, we snuck to his office and decorated his desk and took him his favorite cake ( peanut butter rice krispys with choc.) shaped in 30! we not only surprised him but everyone he worked with...and he thought he could keep this a secret ;)

and he was in for another surprise when he got home... Happy 30th Babe!

after our hike of makapu'u we stopped at hard rock and had lunch...yumm! the girls got seeds to plant so we went home and planted trees (good thing we painted pots the day before, ha ha) ...happy arbor day!
