Our first full day on the Big Island!

ok so when i say full day i mean "FULL"! sorry there's lots of pics, and this is only a small fraction of what was taken! enjoy!

we took off from our motel in Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park and headed north up the Kona side of the island in the a.m and headed strait to the beach... "black sand beach"!

Painted Church...this church is amazing!
St. Benedict's Catholic Church...known simply as the "Painted Church"...built some time between 1899-1904.
