Yep it's a soup can but no there's no soup in them... we filled them with CANDY!

So here's how you do them.... use one of those Pampered Chef can openers that you can reseal the can and open the bottom. Decorate, stuff with candy then add paper grass, put the bottom back on and TREAT someone! Then when they pop the top they get their candy SURPRISE!!!

MONK SEALS! Kaena Point, hike from the north side

Last weekend we hiked the north side of Kaena Point. We made it all the way to the point this time. Once we got there we were in for quite a surprise... check it out! The O'Grady's
Emma, Me, Megan and Tom It was a long way for those little legs, so this is how the girls got most of the way back. Isn't Daddy strong.... did I mention it was OVER 2.5 MILES one way!!!!

MONK SEALS!!!

How awesome is that at the destination point! There were 3 of them, 2 Adults and a BABY! This is pretty neat! Monk seals are an endangered species, so how neat to see three of them in one place!

The Baby is the brown one...lots of blubber. The Adults are the two in the back.

We sat and had a picnic while watching the seals and the wonderful view!

YUMMMM.... it was soooo good! we're sure loving all the delicacies tommy keeps bringing home. we've had eel, taco, tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, and many many other types of fish (the freshest you can get!), almost everything has been absolutely delicious!!!!

LOL, funny! While down loading the pics of our hiking trip, i found many pics on megans camera! (over 280, lol) apparently every time we get in the car she takes some self portraits.... pretty funny! these are just a few of my fav's. she really does get some good ones, i'll post a few more in a bit!

Kaena Point

We spent part of this past weekend hiking Kaena Point, on the west side of the island. It was so beautiful and a lot of fun! Sorry some of the pics aren't the best. We got there and realized our batteries were dead in our camera. But Megan had hers so we used it. Who would have thunk to clean of the lens of a 4 year olds camera, ha ha! The pics aren't the best but at least we got some. Oh don't mind the dates too.... again a 4 year olds camera, LOL! megan trying to trow a rock "ALL THE WAY TO THE WATER"!

Here she is.... Megan in her TAEKWONDO uniform. she's been waiting for 3 weeks for it and is quite proud of her new look, lol!!! isn't she just sooo cute in her taekwondo outfit!
